Harnessing The Power of Your Intentions

"Intention is the starting point of every dream.  It is the creative power that fulfills all of our needs, whether for money, relationships, spiritual awakening, or love."    ~Deepak Chopra

Everything you do begins with intention. From setting an alarm in the morning to going to the grocery store for food, you do so with intention. But, it isn't until you truly understand and harness the power of your intentions that the real magic happens.  Setting an intention is similar to having a set of blueprints. They provide you a framework from which to work from in order to manifest your desired outcomes.  When you set clear, positive, and strong intentions, the vibrations you put off will not only attract the support, people, and opportunities you need, but will help you make choices, respond to situations, and act in ways that are in alignment with your highest desires.  Intentions, unlike goals, are ongoing, daily declarations to yourself, others, and the Universe, that you are serious about the person you want to be, and what you wish to contribute to the world.  So, today when you get up and go about your day, do it with a compelling intention and see where the day leads you.

Happy Intention Setting!

SIMPLE STEPS TO SETTING POWERFUL INTENTIONS:

  •  With a notebook, journal, or a sheet of paper, find a relaxing spot where you can sit and write.
  •   Allow yourself a few moments to visualize what your intentions are.  When we can "see" our desires, it helps bring us to that place of "feeling."  When we can physically feel what it's like to already have what it is we desire, we are one step closer to them becoming real.
  •  Be specific. As you write try to be as specific as possible.
  • Think Big!  Nothing that you want to bring about is too big.  All dreams are possible, big or small.
  •   Place your notebook, journal, or paper in a place where you can read it and be reminded everyday of your highest intentions.
  •  Things don't always come immediately.  Stay positive and keep the faith.
